In a move that will save $300,000-$350,000 a year, RCOC has moved its South Area staff from its Irvine office into RCOC's new headquarters office at 1525 N. Tustin Avenue in Santa Ana, consolidating its operations with the East/Central Area already located in the building. The decision to combine the two areas was originally announced in December 2010, when RCOC moved into the new Santa Ana offices, having negotiated very favorable lease rates for the larger space.

The consolidation of the two offices into an East/South Area took place in June 2011 and will not affect consumers or families in any way. Service coordinator assignments are unchanged and service coordinators will continue to meet with consumers and families in their homes or other convenient locations. The combined area staffs now report to a single Area Manager, Rosalinda Lopez.
